What can I train it on?
Upload PDFs, text files, or Markdown docs. Point it at your website or sitemap and it'll read the pages itself. Or just paste in your own Q&A pairs. You can mix and match. Most people start with their site and add a handful of FAQs they've already written.
What if my site changes? Does it re-train?
Yes. It re-checks your sources on a schedule and re-trains itself when content changes, with no action from you. If you've shipped a big update and don't want to wait, there's a one-click re-train button on every source. Old content is replaced, not appended, so visitors always get the current answer.
How do I get it on my site?
Copy one line of code into your site's HTML, the same way you'd add Google Analytics. The chat bubble shows up in the corner on every page. Most people are done in a couple of minutes.
Where does my data live?
Your content and conversations stay in our database, scoped to your account. Never used to train any model. Never shared. Embeddings are generated locally by a model we host ourselves, so your docs aren't sent to a third-party embedding API. Answer generation runs through a hosted LLM that processes each question plus the matched snippets, then drops them per their policy. If you're evaluating us against specific compliance requirements, happy to walk through the details on a call.
What if it can't answer a question?
It says it doesn't know rather than making something up, and offers to put the visitor in touch with you. You'll see the message in your inbox and can reply right from the dashboard. So even when the bot doesn't have the answer, the visitor still gets one.
Does it work in languages other than English?
Yes. The widget UI ships in 16 languages, and the search index does proper stemming for 23. Your Danish customers get Danish-quality matching, not English fuzz. The bot replies in whatever language the visitor writes in.
What happens if I hit the message limit?
The bot keeps working, but starts suggesting an upgrade instead of generating new answers. Nothing breaks. You'll see it in the dashboard and can bump your plan in two clicks.
